José is an influential blogger whose thinking can be followed on
consultaglobal, where he addresses
the subjects of innovation management and emerging communication technologies. His
articles, posts and online presentations have already registered in excess of 500,000
views.
José's visionary and thought provoking talks are proven to stimulate exciting
discussions on what's next in the telecommunications industry. He was recently invited
by Frost & Sullivan to speak about "Sensing the Future" at "Global Innovations in
New Product Development 2010" before an audience formed by executives from a wide
variety of multinational corporations. José is a regular contributor to Sintetia,
an online publication catering to Spanish speaking economists, and TBB, The Bloggers
Bulletin, which focuses on the impact of social media.
Passionate about design thinking, user centric innovations and new product development,
early in his career José pioneered LAI's first course on Human Factors in Product
Design and wrote "Roadblocks Impacting Ergonomics in Design," a paper published
by INSHT, the Spanish Health & Safety Institute.
His strong interest in management and international business drove him to the
DBS program at Ireland's UCD, earning a postgraduate degree in business studies
with a scholarship from a European Union agency. José went on to pursue an MBA in
International Marketing & Finance from Chicago's DePaul University, sponsored by
Honeywell Europe. He has since benefited from executive training on: global marketing
at Wharton, partnerships and alliances at Northwestern University, technology and
business integration at University of Chicago and, most recently, innovation management
at Harvard Business School and, last but not least, entrepreneurship by Columbia
University faculty.
